1) Art Space
The revamped Art Space in Qihua provides a platform for our students to express themselves through art talk and be inspired to take ownership of their artistic expression through the exhibition of their artworks during the class gallery walk.
*The activities were conducted in accordance with SMM guidelines.
2) Home-based learning – Annual Art Challenge
Qihuaians took up the challenge to recreate famous artworks at home. The challenge encouraged families to stay engaged and inspired through art during the circuit breaker. The results of this challenge displayed the creativity of our students.

Museum Based Learning (MBL) is a compulsory module for all Primary 4 students. 1) Young Illustrators – Collaboration with Xingnan Primary School and community partners
The project aims to engage aspiring young illustrators to come up with their own comic book based on their learning journey experience during the Jurong heritage tour.
Working closely with the school’s art teachers and Illustrator, Mr Shum Kah Fai, who is trained in storyboarding and has illustrated a number of books for children’s writing, the young illustrators were guided through the processes in making a comic book. The book is expected to be published by the end of 2021.
